Mumbai: Veteran actress Shabana Azmi paid tribute to the late Smita Patil on Saturday, on the event of her start anniversary. Smita’s husband, actor Raj Babbar, and son Prateik, additionally took to social media to share emotional posts for the exceptional actress, who handed away on the age of 31.

Born on October 17, 1955, Smita Patil was honoured with a number of awards together with two Nationwide Awards as Greatest Actress (for “Bhumika” and “Chakra”), in addition to the Padma Shri in 1985.
Smita breathed her final on December 13, 1986.
